10 Question Self-Check Review

Topic Overview
If you have an interest in making light in your room more than something you just flick on and off this tutorial is for you. If your child is in love with a storybook’s pictures and wants a nightlight, this tutorial is the place to be. Even if you’re just looking for unique gifts to give friends and family, you’re in the right place. This quiz serves as a follow up to the Phase 1 podcast. By taking this quiz, the learner can ensure that they fully understand the instructions given in Phase 1.

Task (what will your audience be doing)
My audience will be actively participating in a 10 question self-check review. This will allow them to make sure that they've understood the material that they were presented with in Phase 1's podcast.

Process/Guidance (how you will create the project)
I will be creating this project through the use of hotpot.uvic.ca. As I lack a server to properly upload the html coding that this source provides, I shall simply be putting the html code up for viewing.

Evaluation (how you will evaluate your audience)
My audience will be evaluated as they move along through the quiz. The quiz itself will tell the learner whether or not they've chosen the correct answer. If their answer is wrong, feedback will be given explaining why they were mistaken in their choice. The learner will receive a percentage grading, out of 100, to let them know how they've done, which shall be my means for evaluating them. The information gleaned from this evaluation will allow me to fine tune my training in Phase 1 to make sure that it is as comprehensive and accessible as possible.

Reflection (why did you choose to create this project)
I chose to create this project because it is not something that can easily be found on the web. It’s an interactive activity that parents and children can do together and it produces a solid end result that will make it clear whether or not the instructions have been followed properly. For parents with young children or people interested in ambient lighting, this should be an interesting tutorial. Another reason I chose to create this project specifically, was that I can build on it throughout the course of this session. With a portion specifically dedicated to auditory learners I’ll be able to expand in future projects to visual and written instructions with video, PowerPoint slides and text. When taken altogether the variety of ways in which I’ll be enabling people to learn the material I’m presenting should make it a fully comprehensive piece of instruction.
